You can also teach your cat to pay attention to their name, come when called, and walk with you on a leash! Cats have a reputation for being aloof, antisocial, and downright uncooperative. But that doesn't have to be the case. Every cat has his or her own, distinct personality; but if you start early, you can show your kitten the joys of snuggling, grooming and proper veterinary care, lessons that will stay with them forever and help even a naturally shy cat to be more at ease with whatever comes their way. In this fun-filled, four week class, you'll learn how to socialize, train, and connect with your kitten! We'll teach you how cats communicate and how they learn, so you can better understand your amazing animal, and build a bond that lasts your whole lives. WHEN: Wednesdays, 6:00PM FIRST CLASS: November 7th, 2018 Join anytime--class is offered on a rolling enrollment basis. Kittens must be between 7 and 20 weeks of age unless approved by the instructor. There are four classes: an online orientation (REQUIRED) and three hands-on sessions at Tribeca Soho. Class is offered on a rolling enrollment basis, so you may start at any time; however, we do strongly recommend that, to get the most out of the class, you attend in consecutive weeks. When to call in an expert?? I've had cats most of my life. Growing up I had a cat "Jellybean" who had a few litters of kittens. But now having a cat who is 18, two kids and deciding to add two kittens to the mix made me think - this is a new scenario and I wanted to set all of us up for success.
